Contributors

The NYC Open Data Lab is built through the work of student researchers and contributors who develop original analyses using public data and reproducible workflows.

Each contributor represents part of a growing, public-facing body of civic data research—transforming coursework into published, portfolio-ready work.

A Community of Contributors

Contributors to the Lab:

  • explore real-world questions about New York City
  • analyze publicly available datasets
  • develop reproducible research using R and Quarto
  • publish their work as part of the Lab’s ecosystem

This model creates a collaborative environment where individual work contributes to a larger, evolving platform.
